How to play

Three steps

1. Drag to move

   Grab your blade with a finger. It follows the path your finger traces.

2. Hold a spot far away for one second

   The charge begins. Judging when to move and when to charge is what matters.

3. Unleash Iai

   The blade runs straight, cutting down every enemy on the line.

Features

Five things that define STILLBLADE

1. One rule, and that’s it

   Drag to move. Hold a spot away from you for one second to strike. That’s everything you need to know. There is no tutorial.

2. Multi-kills score exponentially

   Your score is the square of how many enemies you cut in a single strike. One enemy is 1 point. Five at once is 25. Eight is 64. Pick them off safely one by one, or pull them in and risk everything for a single flash. That choice is the whole game.

3. You decide what you hear

   There is no background music. Blade, taiko drum, koto, bells, wooden clappers, a gong — a soundscape built only from Japanese percussion and strings. Those sound effects, and the haptics in your hand, can each be switched on or off in the settings. Turn both off and the game plays in complete silence.

4. No ads. No connection.

   No advertising, ever. No network required to play. On a plane, underground, or anywhere with no signal, the game plays exactly the same.

5. Buy once. Never pay to win.

   The only difference between the free and full versions is the number of lives. Same enemies, same difficulty curve, same scoring. Your score is decided by skill alone.
